To develop a zigbee module

Hello,

1. I have a own designed module board with MSP430F2618 interfaced with cc2520 transceiver and a temperature sensor.

2. I want this module board to work as a zigbee module . From my knowledge, I understood that I should implement Z-stack mesh from TI in my module board to make it work as a zigbee module. Am I correct?

3. I have 3 boards with the same configuration. So I have to implement Z-stack and make it function as zigbee module and communicate with other module boards in zigbee mesh topology.

I am beginner in programming. So, I request the experts to give me a clear idea to proceed with my programming. Experts please help me with this problem. I request you to give detailed description, so that it would be helpful for my project. thank you.

As I know, TI doesn't support Z-Stack on MSP430 now. I would suggest you using CC2530.

I have the module already, Is there any possibility to make module work as zigbee module. I request you to give me suggestions.

Is it possible to make my board work as zigbee if I add MSP430F5438 controller with cc 2520 instead of msp3402618 which i used, as mentioned by TI

As I replied in previous post, TI doesn't support Z-Stack on MSP430 now. Even you use MSP430F5438+CC2520, there is no Z-Stack for this. If you insist using it, you can try to contact your local TI representative to see if they can get you old z-stack release for MSP430. The alternative is replace CC2520 with CC2530. Then, you can use MSP430 as ZAP andCC2530 ZNP.

Actually, TI Z-Stack Energy 1.1.0 provides reference design for Zigbee Smart Energy profile on MSP430EXP5438 + CC2520. It support Zigbee mesh but in Smart Energy profile. You can try to use it.
