Hi everyone ！

There is a light device ZED which was required that its power cost must lower than 4uA.

is that possible for CC2530?

I would like to config the device as PM2，and change its Poll Rate for saving Power to fit this requirment

is that OK ?

and What value of the Poll Rate should be OK?

and how could we calculate the time between wake up and sleep？

It is possible. According to CC2530 data sheet, the typical current is 1 uA in PM2. Zigbee spec suggests using 1 minutes as polling rate.

if this device is a light， and poll rate was setting 60s，
when i send a CMD to turn on light， is it means i need to wait at least 60s then light will be on？

i don't know whether do you have hear 2-wire power module，that is what i said harsh condition ！

If you don't add any extra timer event from application, the duration between wake-up and sleep would be the duration of polling rate.

If you set the polling rate to 60s, it has to wait 60 seconds. The alternative is to set fast polling rate or set RX to always on.

If device only wakes up for polling, it is very short. According to my experience, it is around 7 ms.

how did you get this value ？ what is the method about figuring out this time?

if we suppose that the devices always power on for sending data and it costs 30mA/H

so when device only wakes up for polling， is that right for calculate the power costs as below：
7/(1000*60*60) * 30 = 5.83 x 10（-5） mA

1000*60*60 = > 1s = 1000ms ,1min =60s , 1hour = 60min

I connect an amp meter to watch the current consumption to get this value. Yes, your estimation is OK.

how could we get the point where in the zstack code when the device wake up？

could we use osal_GetSystemClock（） function to figure out "the working time" when wake up until go to sleep?

You can check HalLedEnterSleep(); and HalLedExitSleep(); in halSleep function. One is called before sleep and another is right after wake-up.
