Transport protocol functionality in Z-Stack

ZigBee is a networking layer protocol. Does Z-Stack or it's Application Support Sub-layer (APS) provide any transport layer functionality? Or it should be addressed in application I am going to write on top or it?

APS layer provides transport (node end-to-end) as well as session (application linkages through the concept of endpoints) functionality, if we use as a reference the OSI model.

Thanks. I can't find this information in docs. Does it provide automatic re-transmission of lost packets and ensure ordering? Something like TCP?

Dan,
APS Ack enable/disable, pkt Max Retries, timeout b/w reties are all configurable parameters . I suggest the following:
- Install Z-STACK-HOME 1.2.1 http://www.ti.com/tool/z-stack
- Consult "Z-Stack Developer's Guide.pdf" in C:\Texas Instruments\Z-Stack Home 1.2.1\Documents\
Section 8 "End-to-end acknowledgements" has details on this.
