CC2538 device connectivity problem

I was running Door lock sample application. And it works perfectly when the devices are powered through USB. But I'm not getting EZ mode success if the devices are connected through batteries. What can possibly be the problem in this situation. Where should i look to rectify it?

If it is the same FW that uses USB powered and Battery powered, you should check your battery power first.

Is there separate binaries for battery powered and USB powered devices?

For Zigbee, it depends on what device type you use. If you build a device as Zigbee coordinator or router, it must be always powered. So, it is good to use USB power. If you build device to end device type, it is under sleeping in most time so it can be battery powered.
