Hello Everyone,

I am using CC2530EM with Z-Stack Home Automation Profile, in this I am facing an issue of automatic rejoining request.

In Z-Stack after I remove device from the network, the device needs to be restarted in order to allow it to join the network again. Can this rejoining be enabled after specific time without restarting the device? And how can I do it?

What commands are executed after device is removed? Where does the pointer goes after device is removed in Z-Stack?

Sir I am confused on where to give rejoin request? Does that need to come from the coordinator who removes the device?

Where to give rejoin request? You can send leave request with rejoin flag is true.

Sir I have sent command with rejoin true from Linux Gateway. But even after removal of device it does not automatically add to the network.
What would be the error? How can I debug it?

You should use Ubiqua Packet Analyzer to check message over the air.

Dear Yikai,

I want my end device to leave present network and join new network and this needs to be done without manually reseting the CC2530 Module.

Which command should I use here?

Sir while using ZDP_MgmtLeaveReq, how do I get IEEE Address from CC2530? and here is destination address used of Coordinator?

You can use ZDP_IEEEAddrReq to get IEEE address.

Sir but I need short Address to request IEEE Address, How do I get Short Address here without IEEE Address?

When device joins Zigbee network, it would broadcast end node announcement which contains short address and IEEE address. You can register callback for end node announcement to receive it.

You can register Device_annce by using "ZDO_RegisterForZDOMsg(task_id, Device_annce);" in your init function and process "case Device_annce:" in XXX_ProcessZDOMsgs().

Dear Yikai,

We have used following Function to remove Device in CC2530

zAddrType_t dstAddr;
dstAddr.addr.shortAddr = 0x0000;
dstAddr.addrMode = afAddr16Bit;
uint8 IEEEAddr[8] = {0x00,0x12,0x4B,0x00,0x04,0x17,0x14,0x8A};
ZDP_MgmtLeaveReq(&dstAddr,&IEEEAddr[0],1,1,0);

But its not working and I am also unable debug the same.

short address 0x0000 is coordinator. Why do you use 0x0000 as short address?
