Ztool do not find device

Hi all,

I am trying to make ztool working without succes...

I have a SmartRF05EB with CC2530EV which I load with load with Temperature application using the IAR Workbench, this is working well but no way to make Ztool working with it.

I have checked compile options : ZTOOL_P1 and MT_TASK are well defined (as read on another thread on the forum).

Do you check your baud rate on ZTOOL?

No, actually I do not find any baudrate configuration in Ztool menus.
But communication is using USB , does baudrate make sense ?

If you use SmartRF05EB with CC2530EM, you should use RS-232 port on SmartRF05EB not USB. USB is used for downloading FW.

Ok, got it (didn't found this explanation in doc)
Then baudrate makes sense, but where do I setup baudrate in Ztool ?

It is in Tools->Settings->Serial Devices->Select a COM port and Edit.

right (shame on me)
actually nothing appeared before I plugged the USB-RS232 cable
It is wotking now!

I have to add for other people : by default it is 38400, no handshake, this is not working (for me)
setting 38400, with RTS/CTS is ok
