changing baud rate in Zstack ??

When you initialize UART, you can use the following codes.

...

uartConfig.baudRate=HAL_UART_BR_9600;

..

HalUARTOpen (HAL_UART_PORT_0, &uartConfig);

the baud rate change is for the sensor interfacing to the board via UART0

I don't understand your problem well. Please explain in detail.

but i am unable to find out if it is working or not ...
i mean if i just give a data in the ZED and transfer the value in the ZC i can see it receiving the value but when i used the above code for getting the sensor value and sending it to the there is nothing in the received end

You can connect scope to UART TX and check if there is signal coming out when TX is sending message.

the TX is working fine sir .. ie the command from the sensor node to the sensor is going correctly but the data received from the sensor by the sensor node is not at all receiving by the above code

Does you device enable POWER_SAVING?

Do you set a breakpoint in MT_UartProcessZToolData() to see if it stops there when there is RX message?

when uisng HALuartwrite function in SimpleSensorEB it is not at all working but in SimpleCollectorEB it is working will

We find a similar issue. we need to interface a UART based sensor, whose baudrate is 9600, so i need to change the default which is 38400. is that enough to change the default baudrate in MT_Uart.h and write the haluartwrite function. i tried using haluartwrite in the Simplecollector where it printed the sample data from a local variable using haluartwrite. but in case of simple app when writing the haluartwrite in myApp_ReadTemperature() it is not printing anything on hyperterminal..

Try to enable the following compile options on SimpleSensorEB
ZTOOL_P1
MT_TASK
MT_SYS_FUNC

I just build original SimpleSensorEB with ZTOOL_P1, MT_TASK, and MT_SYS_FUNC defined and UART works fine.

was it able to write any text serially on UART0?? just by using HALUARTwrite.?? or should i have haluart open, haluartinit(), etc?? can you please share a screenshot of the UART configuration section..

The followings are my steps:
1. Open original SimpleSensorEB with ZTOOL_P1, MT_TASK, and MT_SYS_FUNC defined.
2. Add #include "hal_uart.h" in SimpleSensor.c
3. Use HalUARTWrite(HAL_UART_PORT_0,str,(byte)osal_strlen( str ) + 1) to output str.

we tried this sir and yet it is not printing any values .

Do you test SimpleSensorEB on CC2530DK?

yes we have worked in the simpleapp demo itself in simplecollector_EB

1. What do you modify SimpleSensorEB in your test?
2. In your previous post, I see you init UART in myApp_ReadCO2(). If you enable ZTOOL_P1, MT_TASK, and MT_SYS_FUNC, you don't have to do UART init in your application. Please remove UART init in myApp_ReadCO2() and try again.
