Z-Stack Rejoining Procedure

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: Z-STACK

Hallo,

according to the Z-Stack developer's guide the rejoining procedure is performed automatically. Is there a possibility to setup the security options during rejoining. We have the requirement, that all rejoin requests should be secured.

Reading through the ZigBee specification it seems that a secured rejoin can be achieved by NLME-JOIN.request primitive (s. 3.2.2.11 NLME-JOIN.request, 3.6.1.4.2 Joining or Rejoining a Network Using NWK Rejoin), which allows for the specification of the SecurityEnable option. The Z-Stack APIs for joining and rejoining, however, do not have such an option. Is setting SECURE=1 in f8wConfig.cfg sufficient in order to achieve the desired secure rejoin-behaviour?
