for test purpose i am asked to send real time data on serial port and transmit it . for real time data i am using Advance serial port terminal 6 by eltima software . it has option to send ascii binary or hex data on serial port of pc . Do you think i am using right approach any suggestions?

Yes, there is a switch P14 to enable RS-232.

You can use MT command to send data from UART directly. Please refer to Monitor and Test API.pdf in Z-Stack document folder..

i am enable to receive data from serial port by adding functions

After you receive the data from UART, you can use API AF_DataRequest to send message to destination.

Yes, you can use API AF_DataRequest in application code. You can refer to GenericApp example in Z-Stack mesh and also read Z-Stack API.pdf.

I don't think the problem is on AF_DataRequest, the problem should be on your UART function. What's in your receive() and send(uartdat)?

I never use those register directly in application code. You should enable HAL_UART in compile options and use HalUARTRead() and HalUARTWrite().

i think by adding this prior to AF_DataRequest it receives data from serial port and again send to serial port . but i don't receive any data on hyper terminal by using this approach i also call function HalUARTInit(); in zmain but no progress looking for response

Are you sure you can receive RX data after you call HalUARTRead?

no i am not sure i dont receive data i think it should work

I suggest you to set a breakpoint and make sure RX data is received correctly.
