Which file i can get port & pin configuration of led connected in light project for toggling,on and off process under home automation in z-stack home 1.2.2?

for (2)i think there is problem in key press detection because following fn is not called.
if (HAL_PUSH_BUTTON1())

i think both problems are related to problem in ISR because interrupt is occuring again and again even with no switch press. finding reason for this.

I also suggest you using scope to check the GPI to see if there is noise on this pin.

Hi Yikai,
My both problems are solved. As i had told before problem was in ISR and key detection. Now i want to create new project file for presence sensor. how to rename the files from door lock to presence sensor. any document regarding this?

Hi Yikai,
i am sending AF_DATA_REQUEST MT Command through hyper terminal from zc to zed. i have placed breakpoint in zclSampleDoorLock_ProcessIncomingMsg of case ZCL_INCOMING_MSG: . breakpoint is hit when i send zcl command but zclSampleDoorLock_ProcessIncomingMsg( (zclIncomingMsg_t *)MSGpkt ); is not processed. i am not able to set breakpoint in this fn too.

After it hits zclSampleDoorLock_ProcessIncomingMsg, can you use IAR step into to trace in zclSampleDoorLock_ProcessIncomingMsg?

Ya i have tried using IAR step into but any statement of zclSampleDoorLock_ProcessIncomingMsg is not processed. I am not able to set break point also in this fn. same i had tried with sample temperature and thermostat code. in this also same issue is there.

Try to change IAR compiler optimization level to medium or low and try again.

ya setting optimization to low results in processing the function.
1)how processing function is related to optimization?
2)should i continue using low optimization?
3)will it not affect other functionalities?

Optimization would make rearrangement of your code and results in this. When you need to do debug or trace into source code, it is better to turn off or lower optimization level. When you finish debug, you can enable optimization for production.

i had followed the procedure given in document for renaming project file but after renaming,project file doesn't get downloaded even though there is no error. i had tried renaming 3 fw and resolved errors that crept in but it doesn't get downloaded.

Normally original code(without renaming) takes around 20 secs to download code in chip but after renaming it takes just 5sec to download code in chip. if original code is loaded first and later renamed code is loaded then there is no change in working functionalities. it works according to the unrenamed code. this thing i have checked by erasing flash.

following test procedures i have done (1)first i have downloaded original code in chip. it sends beacon and get associated. then i send command and it is processed.
(2)later i renaame the project and then download the code in chip. previous functionalities of (1) works now also. i mean there is no new nwk formation. it keeps working according to (1) like polling, processing received data
(3)then i erase flash and again load renamed code. (1) functionalities do not work. no beacon, no association etc.

i am not using NV_RESTORE in either case. i have tried renaming door_lock and temperature sensor fw. after renaming i get some errors as undefined variables which i correct by keeping the original one(before renaming)

Do you also replace all doorlock keyword in 3 project files? Please check that you follow every step in the application note. I have done this so many time and it is no problem to do it.

1)What "3 project files" you are referring to?
2) I have replaced doorlock(case insensitive) with Beeper as per the document. i get lots of error which i correct by replacing Beeper keyword by DoorLock itself because these parameters belong to door lock cluster. Do you get any such error when you had tried?

1. There are 3 project files which are with *.eww, *.ewp, and *.ewd as file extention.
2. If you get errors, there must be something you don't modify correctly.

Dono why its happening. Thrice i have done same process(replacing doorlock with Beeper as per the document). i am getting same errors all the time. i have included the error report. these all errors are related to door lock cluster and defined in zcl_closures.h. By replacing "Beeper" with "DoorLock" it can be found corresponding original definitions defined in zcl_closures.h. zcl_closures.h is not renamed as per the document and so error occures.error.rar

Hi Yikai,

Here i have included sniffer log for third party presence sensor associated with my own coordinator. I can get device announce data in hyper terminal but not able to get end point through active EP request and simple desc response through simple desc request. I think device has been programmed for polling only once because i don't see any polling packets in sniffer and so only i am not able to get these data. If possible can you please tell me what endpoint and simple descriptor it is using? Please consider packets from device with short address 0x61962021.data.psd

My problem in renaming project file is solved now and i am able to rename the project file. Actually the problem was in find and replace. i was replacing doorlock keyword in stead i should have tried replacing with sampledoorlock or zcl_sampledoorlock.

If there is no response to active endpoint request, I cannot know it from sniffer log.

As you can see there is no polling of data at its parent(coordinator) So will active EP request be sent and captured by sniffer in log?

Yes. If sensor sends data, you can retrieve it . So, why cannot you receive it?

No. Not yet. 999$ is too much for me and i can't afford that much price. I have limited resource and i only know how i am experimenting with. You can think this by i can't afford smartrf board then how can i afford this price. Extremely sorry for this although its too much useful tool. Will check for other option to get EP and simple desc if possible.

now i am using door lock code as coordinator and need to change according to presence sensor. after that i think i can receive data.

After I check 2021.data.psd, the endpoint of third party presence sensor should be 3. By the way, I don't see your coordinator send active endpoint request.

if zc is sending active ep request, should sniffer capture request evenif polling is disabled at zed or device belong to different cluster?

i had tried sending active ep request. i too couldn't see any packet transmitted for this. i had tried using the short address of that device. no response came. later i tried with my own device and it was sending ep response. so i thought since i am using different cluster on zc and hence no request packet would get captured while sending to third party devices.

this product is from ihomeware pilot labs. i had read Q/A and there they are telling it will work with other HA compliant devices

I don't think this is a Zigbee alliance certified product so I suggest you don't waste your time on it.

although i had read that HA compliant devices should poll data every 60sec but for Zigbee alliance certified product, is it mandatory to poll data at parent?

There must be some alternative to enable polling when needed otherwise we cannot request some basic information such as active endpoint or simple descriptor from it. It is mandatory to response those basic requests if you go to certification process. If there is a button on 3rd party device, you can press the button to see if it will trigger polling.

I have another zigbee certified product www.alibaba.com/.../New-ZigBee-lamp-holder-adapter-Zigbee_1956761610.html will this lamp holder work on sample slight /switch ZLL/ HA ON/OFF/TOGGLE command?

i have checked. there is a button available but its for factory reset. pressing it continuously for 10sec factory resets it. As they are saying it will work with other HA compliant devices so If i can receive data then from that i will retrieve EP and simple desc. i think device is sending data to zc as it can be seen in sniffer log.

Since you can retrieve active endpoint and simple descriptor, the product might be compliant to HA.

I don't think the product is certified. The Z logo is with black background but the correct one is with Red background. You can ask them to provide certification from Zigbee alliance to confirm this.
