Some of my modules have a soldering problem that some pins are not correctly soldered. The program stucks on MAC_RADIO_TIMER_WAKE_UP(), Could anyone tell me what are the external pins that MAC_RADIO_TIMER_WAKE_UP macro controls?

It seems that you have problem on your crystal circuit. You should check that.

I had the same problem previously and the crystal were fine, but solved it by re-melting the MCU's pins. I have the same problem again with the a few boars.

I would appreciate if you could tell me what pins MAC_RADIO_TIMER_WAKE_UP() macro depends on? I could not understand it from the code.

The crystal input is XOSC_Q1 and XOSC_Q2.

I do agree with YK. It seems that your external 32 Mhz clock source is not stable.
The code checks that the actual system clock frequency is stable and set at 32 Mhz to operate the radio. please check section 4.4.2 in www.ti.com/.../swru191, if you are using the CC2530.

Once checked that the clock source is stable, it then starts the T2 timer (which is used by the MAC); the code just polls until the timer is running, before continuing.
There is no dependency on direct IOs, so it really seems your XTAL or connection from it to the chip is faulty.

yes, YK was right. I applied a little bit solder under the crystal's pad, then the problem went away.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I am using CC2538, do you know how it understand if the frequency is stable? Does it have an internal frequency measuring circuit?

Yes, there is internal checking for frequency in SOC and it will output the status to CLKCONSTA.
