how to make the cc2630 firmware?

i had read some documents, and know how to download with IAR. there are 2 firmwares when download with IAR, but i can't understand the mechanism.

I had download the swra466, it had the firmware, but don't tell us how to make a firmware,

Who know how to make it? thanks in advance.

1. Go to Project->Download->Erase memory.
2. Select Z-StackCore - EndDevice and Go to Project->Download->Download active applicaiton
3. Select SampleSwitch - SmartRF06 and Go to Project->Download->Download active applicaiton

Hi YiKai, thanks for your reply, but your method is useful when use IAR, right?
what I want is make a firmware and update cc2630 with smart flash programmer 2.

Yes, these steps are for IAR. If you want to use flash programmer 2, you have to generate hex files and use multiple flash images to download hex images.

yes, there are 2 firmwares, do you know how to generate one firmware with these two firmwares?
i had download the document and application 'swra466', and the application can download one total firmware instead of two firmware.

THe link of swra466 doesn't work now so I don't know what it is. You can try srecord (srecord.sourceforge.net/.../srec_examples.html) to merge two hex files. But SmartRF flash programmer 2 can take two hex files, why do you need to combine them?

As I know, TI doesn't provide merge tool for hex. I suggest you try to use srecord.
