6LoWPAN Questions with PLC

COOPing

Hello,

I am looking into using 6LoWPAN with our products, but would really like to use PLC and not wireless. Is this a possibility at this time. If so, could I be pointed in the right direction of an Ethernet/PLC router that could use 6LoWPAN with multiple products.

To clarify, can I integrate an internet connection into the power line being used in the PLC.

Hi,
if you are interested in getting IP networking over PLC, I recommend you post your question to this forum: e2e.ti.com/.../171;pi317049=1

This forum is about ZigBee and 6LoWPAN technology over 802.15.4 wireless link, while it seems you are more interested in PLC wired communication link.

If you are not afraid the get your hands dirty with some coding there should technically be nothing stopping you from using 6lowpan, rpl and IP over PLC. Please note however that 6lowpan standard specifies IEEE802.15.4 radio as link layer.

You should be able to find information on Internet.
