Is it possible to create a LabView Gui for the CC2530?

What HW do you use? If you have SmartRF05+CC2530EM, you can connect RS-232 cable to SmartRF05EB and use COM1 port on your desktop.

I am using SmartRF05 + CC2530EM. I connected the RS-232 cable. I am not sure how to read the information off of the board. I opened SmartRFStudio to see if there are any commands. I saw commands such as ISRXON, ISFLUSHRX, FRMCTRL1 and tried to implement them in the Visa Resources, but when I try to read the register it comes up empty. Is there an example LabView Block Diagram that I can look at for reference?

What about SW protocol? Is it Zigbee?

Thank you for all your help, but reading the pdf made me even more confused (>.<). First it's saying we should be using ZTool 2.0. I don't want to use that, I want to use Labview do I have to use ZTool in order for this to work? Second, if I want to receive data from the board I should be using AF_REGISTER to enable me to register the applications endpoint description and AF_DATA_REQUEST to build and send the data through the AF layer from the board to the computer?
