I purchased the pieces required for a BeagleBone Zigbee home gateway including the CC2530 USB Dongle. I downloaded the Z-Stack Linux Ubuntu Gateway Installer.. And I ran it on my Ubuntu desktop.. I can't tell what it did or where the files are.

I have downloaded the TI Linux stack for Beagelbone.. created the SD card on my Linux desktop and can get the Matrix application running on Beaglebone. But I can't figure out the gateway SW. Or where the documentation is.. I see examples for the lighting gateway.. but I don't really want to use the ninjablocks..

What does the gateway... .bin file do when I run it?

Where does it install stuff?

Where is the documentation?

Can I use the factory CC2531 USB dongle factory code to start ? or do I need to download and flash new SW on the Dongle.. It works as a Sniffer now using a Windows PC and the TI sniffer SW.

After you run the install script on Ubuntu, you will have a new folder /opt/Z-Stack_Linux_Gateway-1.0.1. You can find binary for BBB and documents inside.

Not yet. The file is Z-Stack_Linux_Gateway_1_0_1_installer.run I show size as 9.5Mb I make it executable and run it and it says it can't find the file. I tried as sudo with same results.. I've checked permissions.. I thought I got it to run yesterday but no folder in /opt.. I fell like I'm missing something basic.. It has been a few years since I did Unix/Linux and I'm rusty..

The script is for Ubuntu 32 bit version. Do you use Ubuntu 32 bit version?

No.. I have the 64 bit version but I've loaded all the 32 bit libraries.. other TI linux scripts have worked.

Try

1. sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

2. excute ./Z-Stack_Linux_Gateway_1_0_1_installer.run

ia32-libs is "not available" it has been replaced by
lib32z1
lib32ncurses5
lib32bz2-1.0
and I verified that these are already install and the latest version

The install script is still not working.. Can the files be put on Github?
