TI Zigbee gateway on Ubuntu

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2531EMK

We are building our own Home Automation application and want to use TI Zigbee stack. We want to Run this stack on any Ubuntu. Our application also sits on the same platform. However communication will be through TI Zigbee dongle. Please suggest how we can go about doing this. What are the  hardware that are mandatory to support the TI Zigbee stack.

What is the supporting hardware required for Z-STACK-LINUX-GATEWAY? Does it run only on Beagle bone. Or Can we run on any limux machine and use TI CC2531EMK for communication? or any other TI USB Zigbee module

  • Yes, Z-STACK-LINUX-GATEWAY is a reference design that can be porting to Ubuntu or any Linux platform. However, you have to contact TI local representative to sign SLA with TI to get full source code. Then, you have to build Z-STACK-LINUX-GATEWAY on Ubuntu by yourself.
