CC2530EM Discrete Reference Design v1.3.1 (Rev. A)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2530EM, CC2530, CC2530EMK

Hi,
Whatever CC2530EM Discrete Reference Design  v1.3.1 (Rev. A) available on TI portal are without PCB antenna and hence cannot be directly used for making compact retrofit product for home automation at all. The external antenna cannot be installed behind the switch board in the houses. Also it will increase the product size out of bounds. I have earlier purchased CC2530EMK from TI portal in which we got CC2530 boards with v1.6.0. This module with version 1.6.0 has PCB antenna facility given on-board (External Antenna with SMA connector is also available). But Actually, when I observed the routing of ios carefully on v1.6.0 board , it is using PCB antenna and the External Antenna is of no use there.

I confirmed this with Local TI technical person and learned that TI might have outsourced the design, and hence older reliable version of board v1.3.1 (that could have been done in-house by TI) are available on Portal. I have found many documents on Antenna Design from TI, but I am not into Antenna design, hence Please, if anyone can  provide with v1.6.0 designs or onwards, so that I can avoid external antenna issues and  and keep the product size compact.

Below I have given the Images :
