I have 3 cc2530 modules and an arduino uno with ethernet sheild. And I am developing a home automation project

I want to control the GPIO pins of the routers(or end devices) remotely by sending data from the coordinator module, and also the routers(or end devices) should give back the status of GPIOs to the coordinator module.

I don't know which z-stack package is suitable for my application and how to use this in my application

Please help me to do my project ..................................

You can download Z-Stack HOME 1.2.2 and install it. There are SampleLight and SampleSwitch example in Z-Stack Home that you can start with.

I already downloaded the z-stack home automation and IAR workbench .And also loaded the SampleLight and SampleSwitch .
But which file i need to modify and where i get the uart code ,IO pin configuration,and the status monitoring code...............

SampleLight and SampleSwitch have enable UART by default. If you connect UART to PC, you can use ZTool to send MT commands to communicate with SampleLight and SampleSwitch.

Try to use 38400 and use RTS/CTS in handshaking.

i am changed the settings of ztool as you said but it does not connecting(i am using zigbee development board and cc debugger to debug the code).

So, you don't use CC2530DK from TI. You have to make sure you CC2530 module uses P0.2 as UART RX and P0.3 as UART TX.

It is connecting
which boot loader should i load?
Is the boot loader and download (by IAR)program are same?
Why boot loader is used

I am confused by you. Is it already OK to connect your CC2530 to ZTool? What do you mean which boot loader you should use?

I just test with SampleLight of Z-Stack Home 1.2.2 and have no problem connecting Ztool with the following settings:

Hi Sebastian,

Sorry to interrupt in this post.

I also had faced similar problem in past.

If you don't mind just take a try once by modifying following code

1)disable the flow control

2)In z-tool set same baud rate as used in "MT_UART.h" (default baud rate 38400). Select handshake as none.

3)After downloading the code restart Z-Tool. I think now you may be able to connect to Z-tool

It seems that your problem is that your HW doesn't support flow control. You don't have to change that in HalUARTOpenDMA. You can change "uartConfig.flowControl=MT_UART_DEFAULT_OVERFLOW;" to ""uartConfig.flowControl=FALSE;"" in MT_UartInit() of MT_UART.c.

Sorry, I make a mistake. You should change uartConfig.flowControl=FALSE not uartConfig.intEnable=FALSE in MT_UartInit().

You have to modify these source code in MT_UART.c, rebuild it and download using IAR or Flash programmer.

I want to send a commands from arduino to the coordinator zigbee(wired connection),and it should send received command to the router and turn on the led connected to the router..................................................................................
for this which commands i need to send
how can i send this?
how to configure the router and coordinator

My suggestion is to study SampleLight and SampleSwitch and get familiar with Zigbee fundamental thing first.

You can modify -DZDAPP_CONFIG_PAN_ID=0xFFFF in f8wconfig.cfg.

If you don't define HOLD_AUTO_START and NV_RESTORE in your compile option, router would sends beacon requests to start joining coordinator automatically after power on.

I connected green,red,yellow led's on p1_0,p1_1,p1_4 respectively and a switch on pin 2_0 .On both coordinator and router zigbees.
The router zigbee blinks led (as i saw in digi Xbee)
When i press the switch the led will glow

is it connected to the coordinator?
How i know is it connected?

I cannot know if your router joins Xbee coordinator by your descriptions. The possible way to check it is to use TI packet sniffer to check over the air messages.
