Packet Sniffer not working

Do you download sniffer firmware files under C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\Packet Sniffer\bin\general\firmware to your CC2531 and CC2540 USB dongle?

Ya. I had downloaded from same location what you have mentioned.

What do you see on device manager when you plug CC2531/CC2540 USB dongle into your desktop? By the way, do these USB dongle work on your PC before?

Sorry. Some Network problem. Device manager shows device correctly.

Same devices(cc2540 & cc2530) capture packets correctly in some other system. I have same problem in two of my systems. I am sure its sniffer tool problem. May be some library file missing.

I am using windows7 home basic. I didn't had any problem running it before and was using it for last 1 year on same PC.

Just now i had downloaded latest software from ti website both flash programmer and packet sniffer but same result. What may be problem on PC? USB is detected properly as shown in device manager. I had searched for above plugins file zigbee.plt and zigbee.dll in my software installed folder and its available. Now i do not get any error as shown above but when i open i get following empty screen and there is no list of my hardware

Oh! what an easy solution to a silly mistake. Now sniffer tool shows the hardware device window. Will check later if it captures packet when i will access my sniffer hardware. I think it should capture packet for sure.

Adding to the celebration of "YIKAI CHEN WEEK', first of all i want to congrat you from the bottom of my heart and say you lots of thanks for the single handed support i have got from you in learning Zigbee and BLE. You have been a great tutor and helping hand for lots of beginners including me in exploring about wireless communication.

Although this post is not so related to TI but i want to get expert advice as you people have much more knowledge about wireless technology.
1)I want to know if any consolidated or individual packet sniffer for different protocols like Ubiqua Packet Analyzer is available for capturing different protocol packets like BLE(other than CC2540),Bluetooth,Wi-Fi etc. As i know Ubiqua only captures zigbee and zigbee related packets. I want to know more information about the packets being transmitted.
2) Is it possible in ubiqua packet analyzer to decrypt the packets being transmitted when security(either default or developer specific security key) is enabled?
