Hi,

Is it possible to use CC2531 USB dongle as ZNP from a Windows Application other than z-tool?

Yes, you can download ZNP FW under C:\Texas Instruments\Z-Stack Home 1.2.2.42930\Projects\zstack\ZAP\ZNP-HexFiles\CC2531 to your CC2531 USB dongle and it should be used by ZTool when it is plugged in PC.

I understand that I can interact with target device from z-tool. But, how can I issue commands from my application to the target device?

You can use MT command AF_DATA_REQUEST to send commands from your application to target device.

But, am I supposed to use ZNP API instead of Monitor & Test API for this?

ZNP API is the same to MT API.

Hi, is there any sample application that uses MT API? I would like to see how the configuration of ZNP serial port is done.

You can check znp-bringup.zjs in C:\Texas Instruments\Z-Stack Home 1.2.2.42930\Tools\Z-Tool\Scripts.
