Hi,

TI provides Z-Stack for CC2538 ZigBee communication.
This ZigBee stack has to be flash through a Windows app.

But, is there any RTOS with Z-Stack embedded? (Contiki, Tiny OS, OpenWSN...)
Otherwise, which is the RTOS capable to support Z-Stack (or an open-source ZigBee stack)?

Z-Stack for CC2538 doesn't run on RTOS. If you need to run Z-Stack on RTOS, you have to use CC2630/CC2650.

thanks for your answer.

The point is that my board works with CC2538 platform, so that's why I'm looking for a compatible RTOS with ZigBee support.

So, is the TI Tiny OS compatible with CC2538? And, in such case, is there any possibility to add ZigBee stack?

Do you mean OSAL? If so, Z-Stack for CC2538 already deploys it. You can download Z-Stack Home 1.2.2 to check if it fits your requirement.

No, that is not what I'm searching for.

Which are the Operative Systems already developed for working at CC2538 platform?

Has any of them Zigbee capabilities?

If that is not what you want, there is no Zigbee stack for CC2538 that runs on RTOS.

that is the answer I was looking for. Just for confirmation.

So, with any RTOS I should work with another wireless protocol instead of Zigbee.
Zigbee only with Z-Stack.

Isn't OSAL that runs on CC2530 some sort of RTOS after all?
I thought it was some sort of RTOS !
Then what is it exactly?
What does AL mean in OSAL? (I know it stands for Abstraction Layer, I mean more than that)
