Hello Fellow Developers / TI Community fellows,

I am currently using CC2531 USB Dongle for sniffing the packets using the SmartRF Packet Sniffer Tool from TI for Windows. But the problem is when i start to capture live packets using multiple USB Dongles in my system(Frequency Agility Testing), i cannot analyze the data as channels are fixed and analyzing different psd files will be a problem.

So was planning to write a Windows application , from where i can receive the live packets from the CC2531 USB dongle and later merge all the files to analyze. Can anyone help me as to how to receive the data/packets from the CC2531 USB dongle to a local buffer/storage area. Is there any USB API which i can readily use to receive the data/packets from CC2531 USB Dongle?

Help is most appreciated.

    As I know, TI doesn't release this data in public. You might need to contact TI local representative to sign NDA and SLA to get related information.

    As we already have an NDA and SLA signed with TI, getting the information from TI will not be a problem,

    Can you please help me as to what data or software/firmware should i ask for TI?? to get from where i can receive the live packets from the CC2531 USB dongle and extract the MAC payload directly in my application. Please help me in this regard.

    I think you can ask for source code of SmartRF Packet Sniffer and its protocol to communicate with CC2531 USB dongle in it.
