RF sniffer data - cc2538

HI TI,

I have lsetup a coordinator and router without antenna's. I have placed it away form each other so that i get to see very low RSSI between the modules.

Now i have send data from cooordinator to router every 5 seconds for 5 times. i can see the data being received in ZNM-Tool at the router sucessfully 5 times.

i ahave logged the data using the sniffer,

Please explain me the logged data as i see some acknowlegement packets with ERR in FCS field.

Router network address is 0x8F3A2630.Sniffer_data.psd

FCS error mean there is packet error in received frame.

Yes but I see all the packets received correctly at the receiving end. also please explain why I get to see around 15 packets when I send only 5 packets.

I no that that there are few packets of data by coordinator and router signifying their presence in the network. But please explain me the remaining packets.

TI packet sniffer is a very basic tool which cannot parse Zigbee message to NWK, ZDO, ZCL, etc... You have to use a better tool such as Ubiqua Packet Analyzer. By the way, you see around 15 packets when you send 5 packets because every message needs a MAC ack.
