Hi,

I'm trying to make the home automation z-stack sample for Sample switch, i have build an end device and coordinator, but when i upload the hex file and run it, the LCD doesn't show anything and end device doesn't get bind, i try all the joystick switches, they don't respond at all. am i doing something wrong to run them.

I have tried to write something on LCD when play with joystick, but it event doesn't show anything on LCD.

What HW do you use? CC2530DK? Do you modify anything in Z-Stack?

cc2530DB, i didn't change anything, its original z-stack sample

Try to download attached GnericApp.hex to see if you can see output on LCD.

I could solve the problem but now, i have another problem, on coordinator in SwitchSample app, after it bind to router in EZ mode, it cant receive its non EZmode address anymore. for example, i turn on the coordinator and router, they will connect, then i send them to EZmode and they will bind and communicate, however when i off the router and on it back, it cant even join the coordinator anymore.

Do you define NV_RESTORE on both your router and coordinator?

after turning on NV_RESTORE on both, they can join together but when i rebuild new coordinator, the router cant join anymore. it is still has joint to the previous coordinator.

the problem is, when my coordinator goes to EZ mode, change the address type, for example the address recognizable by coordinator before going to EZmode is FD49101064320410E9 but once it bind to a cluster using EZ-MODE the address will be F7481001011D , and it cant get the normal joint address anymore, no other routers can join the coordinator after EZ-mode

I don't understand your question well. If you rebuild your coordinator, it will form a new Zigbee network. The old router with NV_RESTORE would keep network status of previous network. You have to do factory reset to erase network status on NV flash and restart router to make it join new coordinator's Zigbee network.

the problem is the coordinator, when it goes to EZ-mode it cant hear from any router anymore. so i have to reset the coordinator as well.

I cannot judge what happens from your descriptions. I suggest you using Ubiqua Packet Analyzer to check this issue.
