I am working on a project with CC2538 by creating z stack mesh network. I have some doubts on the usage of NLME_NwkDiscReq2() function. After scanning, how to get the results that means the routers in network. Is it update the neighbor table entries ? or is there any other method to get the scanning results. Kindly reply

After you call NLME_NwkDiscReq2, its results will return to the callback function ZDO_NetworkDiscoveryConfirmCB.

But ZDO_NetworkDiscoveryConfirmCB function only has a status byte of discovery confirm as argument. Then how can I get the complete result. Can you please tell the further flow of code in ZDO_NetworkDiscoveryConfirmCB function.

If it returns success, it would send ZDO_NWK_DISC_CNF event to "case ZDO_NWK_DISC_CNF" in ZDApp_ProcessOSALMsg().

But my question is, then how to get the the routers list after the scan ? My understanding is, this function requests the network layer to discover neighboring routers. Is it also update any tables like neighborTable,routingTable or AssociatesDevList ?

This API would discover all neighbor routers which are not limited to current Zigbee network so it won't update neighbor table, touting table, or Association table.

There is no direct way to do it. However, you can use API ZDP_MgmtLqiReq to collect router information in the same Zigbee network.
