cc2531 and cc2650

1. It should be no problem to use new IAR to compile old IAR project.

2. The coordinator is not prebuilt in CC2531 ZNP. It it set by ZAP which is ZTool in your case.

I use the znp pro hex file to for the cc2531 to act as coordinator . It doesn't mention in the readme.txt that this a coordinator hex file

it says no device found unfortunately. Have I done a mistake

I guess I was able to get something now in z tool other than no device found. Is it correct

I used the ZDO_BIND_REQ but it doesn't work.

This is what happens if I use MGMT_DIRECT_JOIN_REQ

1. You can close script window and it won't stop coordinator.

2. You should use ZDO_MGMT_PERMIT_JOIN_REQUEST not ZDO_MGMT_DIRECT_JOIN_REQ.

This is what happens. But I don't get the second thing . where it says ZDO_MGMT_PERMIT_JOIN_REQUEST_RSP. How do I get the temp data.

now got it I guess. But then how to see the temperature values and opt sensor values as hex or as values? Now should I use the bind request. My end device I cant see here in the network

You need to press SW1 on CC2650 SensorTag and you should see green LED blinking. Then, you should see  ZDO_END_DEVICE_ANNCE_IND which means device joins this Zigbee network.

using packet sniffer this is what happens. In Z tool I am not able to make the end device join

I suspect your SensorTag and coordinator are not on the same channel. I suggest you to change -DDEFAULT_CHANLIST to 0x07FFF800 which would make SensorTag scans all Zigbee channels to find Zigbee network to join.
