Hi!

I am using Z-Stack HA Sample application with Z-Stack Home 1.2.1 on CC2531. I am having a problem in storing groups and scenes. When I am trying to store more than 6 scenes, its not getting recalled. I am storing a scene in a corresponding group number, but beyond the 6th group I am receiving a failure:

sr_process_generic_response_indication: Received GW ZIGBEE_GENERIC_RSP_IND.
sr_process_generic_response_indication: Status FAILURE (1)

Can you please suggest if this is an issue on the linux gateway side or at the co-ordinator?

And also the predefined number of groups and scenes that can be stored seems to be 10 for each case, can this number be increased?

It's defined in zcl_generic.h.

Ok, But I cannot add devices in more than 6 groups

Do you use SampleLight to test Z-Stack Linux Home Gateway group function?

Yes, I am using samplelight for testing, I have 5 end points in the Sample light application. But I think only one endpoint is initialised for sample light. Are the rest of the endpoints initialised in the same way?

Also, sorry for my inappropriate information I am using cc2531 as co-ordinator and cc2530 as zigbee routers.

I suggest you using original SampleLight example to test group function and see if you can add more than 6 groups.

ok, I checked using original SampleLight example, I observed, I can add only 16 endpoints(repeated or non repeated) int total. That is, if i add only 1 appliance in a single group, I can create 16 groups. If I add 4 endpoints in a group, I can create only 4 groups, if I add 2 endpoints in asingle group I can create 8 such groups.

So is the limitation on groups actually a limitation on maximum endpoints that can be added? How do I increase this limitation?

Yes, the limitation on groups actually is a limitation on maximum of total endpoints that can be added. You can change max group in f8wconfig.cfg. The default value is 16.

now I made changes in f8wConfig.cfg file:

/* The maximum number of groups in the groups table */
-DAPS_MAX_GROUPS=40

and it is working as expected. I now have to check if these number of scenes are getting recalled properly.
