I am trying to get Zigbee compiled and installed on my CC2650.

I am having problems with the Drivers on my Windows 10 virtual slice on my MAC. I installed IAR 7.5.1 on Windows 10 in Parallels but can't get the driver to to work with IAR. I can read/write fine with TI Programming Flasher 2 . I removed and re installed the drivers for USB and TI Emulator but still get this error:

I re installed IAR and even disabled signature to get StellarisICDI installed. I think this might be an error related to my Mac and having Windows 10 being Virtualized.

Maybe try to use VirtualBox instead of Parallels. If it still doesn't work, I suggest you to install Windows without using virtual machine.

I installed windows 10 on a PC and reinstalled IAR. I have the same error. :( .

Do you try to install TI Emulation package (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../XDS_Emulation_Software_Package)

Hi Jorge,

Did you get any certificate installation errors when you installing TI Emulation package? If so try with administrator privileges. I also used to work on VMware Fusion Windows 10 installed on my Mac, I had the same problem and above fixed mine :)

To do so, right click on the TI Emulation package and choose "Run as administrator"

I'm having the same issue on a non-virtualized Windows 7 system. I am getting this issue even after I manually installed the drivers as an Administrator; I tried both the version that ships with IAR EWARM, as well as the version TI has available for download [1].

I'm trying to use IAR EWARM with a Debug DevPack [2].

If there is a way that I can get IAR EWARM to write the compile binary to disk, such that I can use Flash Programmer 2 to write it to my sensortag, that wold work for me, too. But I don't know how.

Did you solve the problem as "Failed to load ftd2xx.dll"?

I'm getting also same error though I have installed TI Emulation package as "Run as administrator" but still the same error.

Could you please share with me how did you solve the error!

I have read the "Readme.txt file" and to update the firmware I have to buy the XDS110 Debug Probe. So is there any other way to resolve the problem, please.

If you use Flash Programmer 2, can you download hex file to your CC2650STK. Please unzip the new attachment to ZStackCoreEndDevice.hex and SensorTag.hex to download them to your CC2650STK.

Thank you YK Chen,

I have successfully downloaded both .hex file to the CC2650STK. using Flash Programmer 2.

So now I want to connect CC2650STK to z-stack_linux_gateway in order to read the sensor data.
Would I simply run the gateway and keep the SensorTag on? is not it ! Or any other process should I take!

If you build the hex by yourself, you have to remove HOLD_AUTO_START from compile option in ZStackCOre project. Otherwise, device won't do join process when power on. CC2650STK has TMP007 temperature sensor on it so you don't have to buy SmartRF06.

Add a "x" in front of HOLD_AUTO_START like the following screen shot and rebuild ZStackCoreEndDevice.hex.

I have flashed the hex files to the SensorTag CC2650 and tried to connect with z-stack_linux_gateway to read the temarature. But I have not seen any visible effect on linux_gateway.

Do you think, the way I'm trying to read the temerature is correct? Or Do I need to take any extra initiative?

Here is the screenshot after joining the device.

Could you please tell me how does the temperature change? The temperature will change automatically or I have to do it manually? I tried to change by pressing "A" as suggested in the document but the temperature has not changed. Any suggestion, please!

You can use your hand to touch temperature sensor on CC2650STK and it should send updated temperature.
