We have an application that requires up to approximately 1000 nodes. Each node may be located up to 30 meter from the adjacent node in a 25 x 40 grid.
We would like to be able to receive a small amount of environmental status information from each node every hour or so, in a demand-request fashion. The status information requirement is small, a 100 bytes or so. We would like to be able to individually address each unit as well as be able to broadcast to all units.
Node cost needs to be $5 ish at 10K pieces.
Will the Chip Con Zigbee Pro Stack on a CC253x support this application?
Please let me know if this would be TI’s recommended solution or if there is a better solution.
