Zig bee zstack battery power measurement

Hi all,

I am working on zigbee home automation project.I am working on coordinator and i have made it to run on both mains power and battery power.So how i could check that the system is actually running in power saving mode.Is that could be done through current or power measurement ? or there is a another way to to test it.Please suggest.

There are two effective ways to do it:
1. Connect an ampere-meter in series and measure the average current (it should be lower than 300uA)
2. Connect your PCB to a battery through a serial small value resistor (~8 Ohms) then measure with oscope the voltage variation on this resistor

You want to measure power consumption on TI EVB or your own PCB.

Hi ,

I want to measure on TI EB. They have given some points on board to measure the current consumption.So is it will be good to use that feature.
Plzz suggest.
