I am planning to make a ZigBee network and i have some doubts about the right TI chips to use.

1 - That Network will have 30 end devices (ZED) and one gateway that receives the data from all the 30 nodes. This gateway has also to communicate with an GSM/GPRS module. My question is for the ZED design the CC2630 seems like a perfect choice, but for the gateway it seems to have less memory than necessary. So, can I use the CC2530 or the CC2538 for this purpose or do I need to add an extra uC to complete the task (an MSP430 for example)? All the network devices will be battery powered, so the energy efficiency is very important.

2 - For the gateway I would appreciate to have a wake-on-radio device.

4 - If I choose any of the products above, how can I upload the software to the chips? Which ISP do I need?

1. Both CC2538 and CC2530 can act as Zigbee coordinator without extra uC.
2. Don't understand your question well.
4. To download FW to CC2538 and CC2650, you need to use XDS110v3 which you can buy SmartRF06 or other 3rd party programmer. To download FW to CC2530, you have to use CC Debugger.

1. They act like zigbee coordinator and have enough resources to communicate to an GSM module, like SIM900?
2. I want that the gateway wakes up just when some end node is trying to communicate with it. Is that possible with CC2538 or CC2530?

1. If you have to communicate to GSM module like SIM900, I would suggest you to use CC2538 which is Cortex-M3 based SoC.
2. Coordinator has to be always powered. This is fundamental rule in Zigbee.

So, can I put the end nodes to wake ok radio? Like, the cordinator wakes the end nodes?

Zigbee end device is under sleeping in most time and you can set polling rate to wake up to do polling message from its parent node which is coordinator in your case.
