hi all,

i am trying to do my zigbee project in cc2538 controller.

But ztool app is not detecting my controller

can any one help me why it is so

the stack i am using is Z-Stack Home 1.2.2.42930.

please help me

Which ZNP hex do you download to your CC2538 and what HW do you use?

i am using smartrf06 as my hardware.

i didn't understand ZNP hex from where i can find it

i am just loading sample doorlock controller project build as coordinator to CC2538

If you use sample doorlock controller, try to set baud rate to 38400 and enable RTS/CTS on ZTool settings.

Hi Y.Chen,

I am doing the same thing as you suggested but i am not getting the result.My device is not getting detected by the Ztool.
Do i need to use the external usb to uart or i can use the on board usb for ztool operation.

You should be able to use USB virtual COM port. If you still cannot make it, you can try external USB to UART.

hi Y.chen,

with external usb also i can't make it.

During scan of ztool it is showing device not found.

in ztool i made settings as you said

Maybe try to use Baudrate 115200.

ya i tried sample switch build as coordinator it get detected in ztool
but sample doorlockcontroller build as coordinator is not working
why is it so?

I don't have my EVM to test it. I suggest you to compare defines of two examples to see if you can find some clues.
