Hai Guys,

Good morning..!

Am working on zigbee solutions with MSP5438 and CC2520.

Am facing below errors while building the given zstack demo code in IAR.

Can anybody help me in fixing this errors.

Fatal Error[e72]: Segment CODE_I must be defined in a segment definition option (-Z, -b or -P)
Error while running Linker.

What Z-Stack version and IAR version do you use?

Hai Chen,
Should i need to edit any part of the code for testing Demo application...?
because it is stating the below errors while build the project in IAR.

While building the sample app demo for ESP Coordinator using zsact energy, it is showing below errors.
Fatal Error[e72]: Segment ZIGNV_ADDRESS_SPACE must be defined in a segment definition option (-Z, -b or -P)
Error while running Linker.
Can u help me in fixing this errors and make the build successful..?

I suppose this is caused by IAR MSP430 v6.40.1. I think Z-Stack 2.5.1 use old IAR MSP version which you should check readme.txt under Z-Stack installation folder. You can find old IAR MSP430 version on processors.wiki.ti.com/.../IAR_Embedded_Workbench_Kickstart_for_TI_MSP430_Release_Notes

I didnt find the compatible version for 5438, it is saying NA (not available).
So suggest me any best way in this IDE version.

Try IAR EW430 5.51.6.

Ok... But it is showing support for below devices,MSP430G2xx4 series
MSP430G2xx5 seriesMSP430TCH5E
But am working on F5438 exp board. Will it be convinient..?

If I remember correctly, you can use that version (IAR EW430 5.51.6). Do you have problem using it?
