Hi man,
I have a question regarding CC2530 on Z-stack platform and need some helps.
Could SED (Sleep End-Device) uses UART port when it's sleeping?
Thanks in advance,
Jansilp

I looked at the CC2530 User's Guide (i.e. data sheet) here:
http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/swru191/swru191.pdf
In Chapter 16.4 Baud-Rate Generation, I see this:
Baud Rate = (256 + BAUD_M) X (2 ^ BAUD_E) / (2 ^ 28) * f, where f is the system clock frequency, 16 MHz RCOSC or 32 MHz XOSC.
Then in 4.1 Power Management, I see that in the first sleep mode, PM1, "Neither the 32 MHz XOSC nor the 16 MHz RCOSC is running."
So it looks like your answer is no.
Hi Harry,
Thanks so much for your answer. If answer is no. So, is it possible to hold the devices to stay active during manufacturing process by setting a jumper?
Kind regards,
Jansilp
I don't understand the follow up question. Perhaps look at programmatic options for temporarily disabling the power savings (perhaps key press or jumper triggers this programmatic logic) - read Chapter 9. Power Management API of the OSAL API.pdf located here:
