CC2530 - ID0130: Error in HEX file verification

Hello everyone,

I am trying to program cc2530 using USB DEBUG port on smartRF05 Board using smartrf flash programmer.

flash programmer is showing the following error-

CC2530 - ID0130: Error in HEX file verification

Which hex do you download to CC2530?

also I have tried with different hex files which are working previously.
now flash programmer showing same error for any hex file.

sir issue is not with hex file all the hex files are tested previously.

If you are sue hex file is good, try to erase flash and download/verify again.

I have tried to erase flash and then download/verify but still facing the same error.

and also the same hex file I am able to download in different cc2530.

I mean the flash might be damaged and unrecoverable.

if flash is damaged then why "erase and program " action works perfectly?

If you only select " erase and program" and device works after that, the flash is not broken. That's strange.

can the program executes without hex file verification?

Basically yes. However, if there is no verification, you won't know if the download is correct or not. So, it might not work sometimes.

since I am able to perform "erase and program " action ,and Unable to perform "Erase program and verify" action.
so do you think there is issue in my hardware ?
or
issue with cc2530 chip?

If you can do "Erase program and verify" on your another CC2530 custom board, I think the problem is on CC2530.
