Porting Guide: Running Z-Stack Home Sample Application on the New CC2650 Launchpad

thank you for your very helpful porting guide!

But unfortunately in the latest ti rtos release there are many changes that makes it really hard to be ported.  Do you know if there is a plan for new clean z-stack release with  latest ti rtos included and examples for CC2650 Launchpad or any guide to fully port the latest ti rtos into those examples?

It is a shame to have such a board and no ZigBee examples for it! Ti seems to support only BLE dev, but how about Zigbee?

Hi Spiros,

This porting guide is based on using the old version of TI-RTOS with the new LaunchPad board files so there is no need to port the entire project to the new version of TI-RTOS to be able to run ZigBee with the LaunchPad.

Unfortunately as you mention most of the focus for the CC26xx platform is on BLE and this is mainly because of the memory size constrains when using ZigBee with the CC26xx so in ZigBee we focus more on the CC25xx platform which has more memory.

Also, we are planning on releasing a guide on how to port the existing ZigBee CC26xx examples to the newer versions of TI-RTOS. This guide will be posted here on E2E as soon as it is completed.

I work on a project with two Launchpad cc2650 for a Wireless sensor network with zigbee protocol, i tried to import the z-stack home, i followed all the instructions but  the file boards did not match, is there any new guide  For porting z stack on new TI rtos
