How to change the poll time when the enddevices working in the PM2 are discovering the network

Which Z-Stack version and example do you use?

Mesh1.0.0 ,The Coordinator of gateway turn on the power ,and the enddevices work in the PM2,and then The Coordinator of gateway turn off the power ,the enddevices is discovering the network!

You can refer to REJOIN_BACKOFF and REJOIN_SCAN in examples of Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a.

there is no "REJOIN_BACKOFF" and "REJOIN_SCAN " in Mesh 1.0.0 stack

I know so I ask you to refer to it in Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a. You have to do similar thing in Z-Stack mesh by yourself.

I have processed the Rejoin time when the enddevices are rejoining the network in the Mesh1.0.0 according to the HA1.2.2a . But it seems no usefull

Maybe you can consider to use Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a instead of Z-Stack mesh.

I have configued the enddevices in the HA 1.2.2a,however the gateway use the Mesh1.0.0,I have found the problem that the enddevices can not be added to the gateway,whether the HA 1.2.2 can't not communicate with the Mesh1.0.0

Z-Stack mesh doesn't enable Zigbee security by default so you have to disable security in Z-Stack Home to make device can join Z-Stack mesh.

Yes, current waveform won't change when the enddevice is rejoining the network. However, the device would go to backoff state to save power for REJOIN_BACKOFF duration.

I think the the duty cycle of current waveform can be adjusted ,to change the time of discovering network and the time of sleeping

This is controlled by Z-Stack and I don't see how you can change it.

this is a critical problem if the time of high current waveform can not be adjusted !

As I know, all of Zigbee HW/SW are similar at this point. Zigbee end device isn't designed to not connect to any network for long time.

Can you post a packet sniffer log with your problem occurring?

REJOIN_BACKOFF means the silent period timer duration in milliseconds after rejoin scan. REJOIN_SCAN means scan duration in milliseconds when device does rejoin scan.

If you'd like to know more about the rejoin scan & backoff durations you can check out section 5.3.2 the public Zigbee HA spec, located at the bottom of the page here:

REJOIN_SCAN and REJOIN_BACKOFF are times in ms (15 minutes by default) that are used as timeout values for a system timer that is used to generate the ZDO_REJOIN_BACKOFF event, which handles both putting the device into the backoff state and taking the device out of the backoff state. This timer is started with the REJOIN_SCAN timeout value at the beginning of the rejoin scan procedure, and while this timer is running the entire rejoin scan procedure will occur. When the timer expires, the ZDO_REJOIN_BACKOFF event will occur and the device will be put into backoff, and the timer will be started again but with the REJOIN_BACKOFF timeout value instead. During backoff, the device will do nothing/go to sleep. After the timer expires this time, the ZDO_REJOIN_BACKOFF event will occur again and the device will restart the rejoin scan procedure and will restart the timer with the REJOIN_SCAN timeout value, etc.

REJOIN_POLL_RATE is the rate at which the device will poll to rejoin the network, which is 440ms by default.

You only need to revise "REJOIN_SCAN" and "REJOIN_SCAN".

I have revised the "REJOIN_SCAN" and "REJOIN_SCAN".but the current waveform seems no change!

Try to set REJOIN_BACKOFF=60000 and REJOIN_SCAN=15000. This would make device scan for 15 seconds and BACKOFF 60 seconds.

That event occurs when the device is both going into the backoff state and when it is coming out of the backoff state.

I am interested in a packet sniffer log because I want to see if your device is polling or if the radio is turned on while it is supposed to be asleep. Some other users have been having an issue like that and it causes higher than expected current draw. You are welcome to try implementing the changes that I proposed on another thread for an issue similar to this, linked here:

I see your device doesn't send beacon request from 23:16:35 to 23:18:33. This should be mapped to REJOIN_BACKOFF settings. What do you set REJOIN_BACKOFF when you do this sniffer log?

This doesn't match your sniffer log. The longest backoff duration is about 9 seconds in your sniffer log. Do you test this using Z-Stack home example that only changes REJOIN_BACKOFF and REJOIN_SCAN?

You can use PA/LNA such as CC2592 to anti jamming.

sometimes the thought is Infeasible .for example the device of CC2530 is Battery powered

I have implemented lot's of battery powered device with CC2530+CC2592. Battery life is an issue but I don't think it is infeasible.
