Hello guys,

I was able to successfully test OTA functionality with premise display sample code in Zstack energy.

Then I integrated OTA client functionality with generic app [Zstack Mesh] and used dongle program from Zstack Energy. But this was not working.

I could see device in OTA Server software but attributes were not visible and also was not able to update image. Need Help.

The security setting of Z-Stack mesh and Z-Stack energy are different so I think that might be the reason.

Dear YK,

Thanks for the reply. I have disabled the security for both the projects. I have observed that zcl_ota files are different in Zstack energy and Zstack mesh. Is it the possible cause of the problem and if yes then how can I solve it?

It's confusing that why you use Z-Stack energy to do OTA to ZStack mesh? Can you elaborate?

We essentially need a client and a dongle for an OTA update.

Client application is generic app with ota files. [Referred SWRA353, Rev 1.6]

Dongle application is from Zstack Energy.

I have used dongle application from zstack energy as zstack mesh does not have dongle project.

I never test OTA like this. I can only suggest you to use Ubiqua Packet Analyzer to check it you can find any clue from over the air messages.

Ok, I will test with Ubiqua.

zcl_ota in zstack mesh is different from zstack energy. Is it a problem??

If zcl_ota is different in Z-Stack mesh and ZStac energy, it might be a problem. However, you have to debug to know it.

Hi YK,

Problem solved. ZCL_READ , ZCL_WRITE and other compile time options were added. And also used dongle code from zstack_home [It uses latest zcl files].
