hi,

i am just trying to work with Ztool 2.0 , but when i am clicking it is giving an error when working in windows xp . when trying to work with windows 7 it is not detecting the devices. can anyone tell me what is the problemerror messaage.docx

Try to install.net framework.

sir,
i am trying to install but it is going for repair process only.I have dotNetFx4.0_full setup.exe but it is not working.
similarly ztool will not work with windows 7 sir.

I am sure ZTOOL works on Windows 7. My desktop runs Windows 7 and ZTOOL can work on it without problem.

sir,
on my desktop with windows 7 i am getting scanning for devices but devices are not shown.
i have set the com port 5 as 34800 then also it is not working.

Try to use Baudrate 115200.

sir,
i have changed to 115200 but still it is not recognising devices. stop bits - 8 bits , parity - none.

I have CC2530DK with Zstack1.2.1 home automation running on it.
i also have attached all time my cc2531 with sniffer program.
this is my setup.

Can you specify you use CC2530DK or CC2531 USB dongle to connect to your PC and let ZTool to search the device? And please let me know what application you run on your CC2530DK or CC2531 USB dongle.

sir ,
i am connecting both cc2530dk and cc2531 to my pc.
in cc2530dk i have temperature sensor and thermostat program running.
For cc2531 i have loaded sniffer for ubiqua .

sir,
COM PORT 5 i am opening because it is viewed in my Port settings.
Sometimes it is showing COMPORT 8 , depending upon the COM PORT viewed in my Device manager i am opening.

sir,
i have disconnected cC2531 and only i have CC2530 . Port number is COM PORT 6. i have changed the value as u specified as 115200.
still it is scanning it is not able to find the device.

You have to set baudrate=38400 and Handshake to RTS/CTS.

sir,
whenever i open Ztool it is showing scan devices, so i am not able to view settings from ztool.
But in device manager i am able to set the port settings but is not showing Handshake setting.
remaining i have set.still it is not recognising sir.

You can set those setting after ZTool finishes scanning. After you do those settings, you can ask Ztool to scan again. I just test my CC2530DK with SampleTemperatureSensor and it works fine.
