I did connect a button on P0.1 as you said like this diagram: (active low) 

and I changed the following code HAL_KEY_SW_1 to HAL_KEY_SW_6

I made SECURITY=0 on both coordinator and router nodes

I checked the OTA packets and no toggle command packet is transmitted after pressing button on P0.1

can you guide?

I didn't bring any changes in the sample code, except just for the HAL_KEY_SW_6.

This is what I get from packet sniffer please see if binding occurs or not?

But no packet about toggle command appears on sniffer when I press the button.

The EZ-mode does it trigger after the ZDO_STATE_CHANGE? if it triggers why is there need for a second button?

Hi Yikai,

To check the trigger event of HAL_KEY_SW_6 on P0.1: 

I did initialize the P0_2 as output and i set it as 1, after the network state change:

and in here to check whether the HAL_key_sw6 is triggered or not, I added:

The P0_2 is not changing its state when I press the P0_1 button, 

I still couldn't figure out the how to trigger the button please guide

Shouldn't you use P0_2 instead of P0_4 if you intend to control P0.2?

Look at the photo below. White wire is P0.1 and is connected to Vcc using 10k resistor. Black ground wire on the right is how I trigger by touching it to white wire. I.e. active low 

Am I correct?

Thank you it worked, why was it not set by default in z-stack? can you elaborate
