How many associated device can be join to coordinator ?

Which Z-Stack version do you use?

Z-stack Home 1.2.2a , CC2530

In Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a, maximum number of devices in the Assoc/Device list is set to 20 which is defined by " #define NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST 20" in nwk_globals.h. So, all 20 routers and 25 end devices cannot join to coordinator.

we have Zigbee network and intstalled in my home , all node Permit join is off ,
now i want to add a new Node , but node Place is out of Coordinator Range , now i must active Permit join nearest Router and connect new Device to it ? or New Device and coordinator take the first close and Permit join thenThe New device is in place ؟

Shoud Router Permit join be Enable always ?! it's Safe ?

I try to active Broadcast permit join in Ztool by following :

You can use ZDO_MGMT_PERMIT_JOIN_REQUEST with the following parameters from coordinator.
AddrMode : 0x02(ADDRESS_16_BIT)
DstAddr : 0xFFFF
Duration: 0xFF
TCSighnificance : 0

Coordinator - - - - -- - - - - - - - router1 - - - - - -- - - - router2

when i active Broadcast Permit join in Coordinator , router1 Connected
but router2 not connected , because just it is in Range of Router1

How Connect Router2 to Coordinator ?

If router 2 is in radio coverage of router 1, it should join network through router 1.

but it can not join ,
when i press Permit join switch in Router1 , router2 Connect to Router1 , but when i send Broadcast Permit join via Coordinator Not connect

I suggest you to use Ubiqua Packet Analyzer to check this.
