I have some problems with CC2530 A2 (not CC2530 EM and I just have a CCdebugger , not an EB ).I tryed to turn the module ON and I've installed SmartRF studio,IAR,Packet sniffer and Z-stack mesh and I test the module..

Please help me to know how can I make a sample connection between input on an End device(something like a switch or pushbutton),.send the data about this happen via.wireless ZigBee mesh connection and then recive that data in coordinator and have an output (like turning ON a LED ) on coordinator side.

I don't have enough time to read all of documents.and I need a quick guide.

All of TI Z-Stack examples are run on CC2530DK (SmartRF05 + CC2530EM ) so I would suggest you to buy it to save your time.

Hi alireza,
First program one board as a coordinator and other as router/End device,now with help of switch,wait for STATE CHANGE,till coordinator and router/end device joins the network.A common PAN ID declared in the Config file.
and then refer.

I debugged boards with IAR as coordinator and End device.but I still have some problems.
I can't recognize which pins are switches?
Lets face it...I'm confiused

The examples use Joystick move to do up, right, down, left, and center key and it uses CC2530 ADC to read JoyStick signal. If you don't have SmartRF05, you have to revise hal_key.c to do key reading.

Thank you YiKai Chen for your approaching solution and it was really useful.
I read this phrase in Smartrf05 user's guide noticed that : "The EB+EM can be of great help during the whole development cycle for a new RF product" and I believe that.so this is not an aim for somebody needs to have a different communication project.
and I need a certain solution for a simple wireless communication without EB to press a button in End-device side and then see LED turns ON in Coordinator.

You can remove HOLD_AUTO_START from compile options so device can start to send beacon requests to join Zigbee network when device is powered on. And, you can add a periodic event in SampleSwitch to send toggle command to coordinator to toggle LED on coordinator.

Hi, I finally make my simple switch to toggle an LED on another device.

I used light/switch.

now I want to begin working with mesh, I read documents and simpleAPI too but i don't get how to stard it....

please help me

Zigbee mesh is controlled by Z-Stack kernel so you just add Zigbee router to your system and Zigbee mesh would work automatically.

In project configuration of every example, you can select it to be built as router.

Hi again :)

I tried Generic application on my devices.

and after debugging devices as router and coordinator the LED P1_0 turns ON.

I want to bind devices like what brought in Generic application.I have some questions below:

1) I want to remove joystick and set switch/ push button instead,how can I do this?

2)what is the PIN and PORT of LED 4

1. GenericApp use right key to start end device binding. If you don't want to use right key to do it, you can copy the binding related code to anywhere you want to use it.
2. LED1 and LED4 is mapped to P1.0, LED2 is mapped to P1.1, and LED3 is mapped to P1.4 in CC2530DK. You can refer to hal_board_cfg.h.

what statements do I need to add in GenericApp to use a push button instead joystick?
( push button connected to P0_1 for example.)

I revised hal_key.c but this is my first attempt at embedded programming.
I wish you to explain more please.
I just want to know how can I remove joy stick functionality and add a switch instead of that.
In LIGHT/SWITCH I tried it with this command :
halButtonPushed()
and it worked.
but now i dont know how do this .

You can remove all SW1 to SW5 related code in hal_key.c to disable joystick input. Then, you can refer to SW_6 related code which shows you how to use P0.1 as button input.
