Z-Stack Coordinator sending Beacon Request

Hi all,

I was trying to find out what's the problem with my Zigbee network, and I found what it seems to be a coordinator that sends beacon requests continuosly. The sequence number of the packets (nwk packets and beacon request ) are consecutive.

Do you understand the same? If yes, why is this happening??

Beacon requests are sent out from Zigbee end device. Zigbee coordinator and router should respond with Beacon frame when they receive Beacon request.

I'm aware of that, but what do you understand from the .psd file?

This screenshot shows what it seems to be a coordinator sendong beacon request, or am I wrong? (look at the packet sequence numbers)

In your screen shot. beacon requests with seq. no. 0xD5, 0xD6, 0xD7, and 0xD8 are beacon requests sent from device not coordinator. The next package with seq. no. 0xDA is from coordinator (as you can see the NWK SrcAddress is 0x0000) and it is a Link Status packet.

Ok, so the correlative sequence number it was just coincidence..
