ZB Binding in large network

So is it okay to use binding when we're expecting this large network? May I ask what's the advantage of binding?

Binding is just one of methods to assign message destination to a device. I don't see any reason that you cannot use binding in large network.

My concern is the size occupied by each ZED in the binding table @ the coordinator. Will this be a problem if we are expecting 300-400 nodes?

As I understand binding, the coordinator will hold the binding address per each ZED. Does ZR hold binding addresses of its ZED too?

Yes, ZC will be a concentrator.

I am confused by you. What do you mean concentrator here? Are messages only sent from ZEDs to ZC? or, are messages only sent from ZC to ZEDs?

ZC will receive messages from ZED. In other words, ZC acts as data concentrator.

ZED would store ZC as destination in its binding table after binding so all of your 300-400 ZEDs would have ZC as destination in its own binding table. I see no problem on this.

My bad. I thought that the ZC will hold the addresses of ZEDs. Ok this seems.

Another concern is that if binding will be used, and one of the ZED got disconnected for some reason, will this have no effect to ZC if the ZED will rejoin with:
case_1: restored from NV
case_2: not restored from NV(refreshed using SystemResetSoft)

I think these two cases won't have a effect to ZC.
