start EZ Mode from other Device via SPI

Hi want to start the Ez Mode by spi communication know the problem is I only want to start it when it is really needed.

So I Need to find a place in the SampleTemperatureSensor example where device knows if it has already a coordinator or if it need one. I can't do it onevery start up because of NV Restore it is not needed on every start up

You can periodically check devState variable to know device status. devState is DEV_END_DEVICE or DEV_ROUTER which means it joins Zigbee network. You can do what you want according to devState.

WHich value will devState be if EzMode has to run ?
And which state is devState when Device is already in Network?

When devState is DEV_END_DEVICE, DEV_ROUTER, or DEV_ZB_COORD, it means Device is already in Network. You can start EZ mode when devState is DEV_END_DEVICE, DEV_ROUTER, or DEV_ZB_COORD.

Maybe I 'm wrong but what you write lokks like this

{

}

maybe I get something wrong but this will not work

Hi this I think can not work you give me for both cases the same Values is it maybe DevState_HOLD and INIT when Ez Mode should be startet ?

I am confused by you. Actually, EZ mode is just a commission approach and you can trigger it anytime in your application.

Yes I know this but I don't want to run EZ mode on every start up only if it is needed because Node never was bound to the coordinator

I have shown you that you can use devState to check device state so you can do it under any state you want to do it.

Yes but in which state is what ? where is it already known by coordinator and where is it new and have to run ez mode ton know coordinator

If you refer to Zigbee HA profile spec, you would see "EZ-Mode operations shall be invoked by some interactive means on a device" which suggests you to use a button on device to trigger EZ mode.

If you insist doing it without button, my suggestion is:
