Any significant different when using Z-Stack Home Automation instead of Z-Stack Mesh?

Z-Stack home runs Zigbee HA profile but Z-Stack mesh uses proprietary profile.

Aside from that, if I expect to have 400 nodes, will there be significant difference in performance when using HA than mesh? (perhaps routing or something that I need to worry about if I use HA?)
