Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2650
The SensorTag device is advertised with "Low-power or battery-less operation / One year battery life and battery-less operation [...]", yet I failed to find any further information on battery-less operation. I would have expected there be an add-on board with a PV cell and supercap or similar., visually like Is anything like that planned / in the pipeline / when can I expect a release?
(Building an own add-on board is suggested to be possible in the documentation, but the provided "Build your own DevPack Guide" .zip file looks utterly useless to everyone who does not use Cadence -- anyway, battery-less seems to be generic enough a feature that it wouldn't warrant every user building their own extension).
