1. Remove ZTOOL_P1 and MT_TASK from compile option.
2. Add HAL_UART to compile option.
3. Add the following code in GenericApp_Init which would output "Hello World!" to UART.

uartConfig.callBackFunc = NULL;
HalUARTOpen (HAL_UART_PORT_0, &uartConfig);

HalUARTWrite(HAL_UART_PORT_0, "Hello World!", 12);
4. You can add HalUARTWrite to output received message from GenericApp_MessageMSGCB.

You have to add "halUARTCfg_t uartConfig;" as global variable. I provide it in my code example but I think you miss it.
