Question about Zstack Inter Pan.

Dear Ti,

Im using zstack in my project, and i found some question about inter-pan.Here is the situation: i got a ZC and a ZED.before ZC started to build a network, i expected the ZC could send a msg about panid to the ZED with Inter-PAN. Now, i can see a packet sent by ZED throught sniffer, and the ZC did receive the msg.In the contrary direction, the ZED can not receive the packet from ZC and did not trigger a event, even i can see the packet in sniffer.

so i was thinking: does the ZED have the capacity of receiving zigbee packets before it joins a network and sends data request periodically?

According to my understanding of Zigbee protocol, you can't do that.

why?
in my opinion, inter pan can be used when the network doesnt work. is it wrong?
i got anther question: where can i see the confirm or respond of inter pan msg ? MAC_MCPS_DATA_CNF ?

1. I would say the receiver of inter PAN message has to be in one of Zigbee networks.
2. As I know, there's nowhere to receive MAC_MCPS_DATA_CNF in application.
