Presently working with CC2530 Development Kit. I want to add OTA Server functionality with the existing sample application (Sample Switch in the Project folder). How can I do that? I have gone through the documents (Z-Stack OTA Upgrade User’s Guide) and sample applications.

The sample application is working fine.

But when I followed the procedure to add the OTA client functionality to the SampleLight project it is giving Linking error.

And there is no procedure to add OTA Server functionality to the user application. I have tried with SampleSwtich project.

Can you help me on this?

You can refer to section 2.4 Z-Stack Implementation of the OTA Upgrade Cluster in Z-Stack OTA Upgrade User's Guide.pdf.

Thanks for your reply.
I have referred the document you have mentioned.

But when add zcl_ota.h and zcl_ota.c those files where inactive in the IAR workbench under Project folder.

And the functions in these files are shown as undefined as below.

please help me on this.

I am taking SampleSwitch project as a reference project and i am trying to add OTA_Server functionality to it. The device role will be a ZigBee Coordinator.

Can you do a screen shot to show me how you add zcl_ota.h and zcl_ota.c those files in the IAR workbench under Project folder?

I just try to drag and drop those two file into my project and it works fine. Can you remove them and try again?

Thanks for you quick reply.

I feel like it is due to some configuration /workspace issues.

I have tried removing and adding back.

When I choose the RouterED-OTA Client workspace the file is automatically active.

But I want to add the OTA Server or OTA client functionality with my own application.

Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a examples are built by IAR EW8051 9.10.1 so I suggest you to use it to test again.
